Journaling when defeated

Helen NurseComment

Winter is not my friend especially when the snow calls for an unexpected snow day with kids and hubby in residence.  Trying to work at home with four human distractions is impossible so instead of letting the day go to waste I decided to go with the flow and use this "down time" to plot and plan.  For me journaling brings perspective and clarity when I am all over the place.  It helps me focus and allows me see my goals in black and white which keeps me accountable to set these goals into motion.

My "life book" that I have kept since college contains best practices that I have used over the years be it daily, monthly, etc.  It contains best foods to eat, foods to avoid, work outs, affirmations, hair care regimens, etc.  Then I have volumes that journal various life events, i.e. wedding, each child, etc.  Not to mention the journals that I have just because they are pretty and I will use them one day for some special thoughts about some magnificent topic.

Following are some journals that I hope inspire you to begin or continue to jot down life's special moments or your dreams and goals.  Happy jotting!
