I HATE the winter!!!!! My body hates the winter, my spirit hates the winter, my soul hates the winter and living in NYC makes it worse with the dirt, grime and dirty snow that lasts until spring. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or the Winter Blues is a form of depression that can begin as early as late fall and can last for months. Sometimes it can be extremely hard to get out of bed in the morning especially when it's still dark outside so I make sure I start my day with a bit of happy. Following are a few tips to help get your day off to a bright start whether you have the winter blues or just need a quick morning pick me up.
